It’s not about being in the friend zone, it’s about showing you care. But when it comes to getting girls to fall head over heels in love, all a guy really needs to do is show his lady friend that he really cares about her. A lot of guys try to talk themselves up so they’re “worthy” to pick up the girl they’re on a date with.
I have a friend who is a pianist, and he didn’t even hint to his now-wife that he also knew how to play guitar until maybe a year into the relationship. If you’re able to constantly pull surprises out of the bag, you’ll keep her fascinated. And you won’t achieve this if she finds out everything at once.
If you are already friends and want to take things to the next level, then ignore this step. However, if you just met or are only casual acquaintances, spend time together in a group or ask her out indirectly.
Get out there and find your next relationship. #10 Know what to do under the sheets. So, you’ve made it past the first couple of dates, and you want to move onto the next phase.
Everyone likes having someone to talk to, especially women. I cannot recall all the times when I would tell a story to my boyfriend and then he would just reply with “yeah, yeah,” as he’s texting. Don’t be that guy.
Have high expectations. Having high expectations of people communicates to them that you are high status and not a pushover. This is incredibly attractive to women because it shows her you respect and love yourself. You are sure of yourself and adamant about getting what you want.
Even if you’re in a bar and she’s not going anywhere it’s always good to walk away for a bit to go join your mates and give her some space so she rejoin her friends and tell them all about you. Get her number. When you feel like the conversation has reached it’s peak, make your excuses for leaving and get her number.
A common mistake that guys make when trying to get themselves a girlfriend is that they meet a woman, feel sexually attracted to her and immediately begin to want to have her as a girlfriend (i.e. he is smitten, falls in love at first sight). Now I’m not saying you need to go out and tell a girl you’re attracted to her (although that does work when said in the right tone, see our article on how to tell a girl you like her), but instead don’t play it safe. One huge mistake guys do that kills all attraction is to approach women in an overly safe manner. So that even if she rejects you, you don’t feel rejected because ‘you weren’t really trying’.
If you can’t handle hearing this girl talk, then she’s probably not a good match for you anyway. #7 Ask her on a date. If you’ve found a girl you’re interested in pursuing, pursue her! If you know her from school or she’s already a friend then just ask her straight up, “Do you want to go out with me on Saturday night?
Everyone feels like this at some point, and you don’t have to be single forever. If you’re interested in finding a girlfriend, start by working on yourself to make sure you’re taking care of your own needs. Then, reach out to friends, go out, and join clubs to meet more girls so you can make a connection.
Confidence shows you’re emotionally stable, you know what you want, and you know who you are. If you’re wondering how you can be more confident, start by doing things that make you feel good and start to convey a positive outlook on life. Don’t be scared to make the follow-up phone call after the first date.
